Dealer's Law

Every table has a few rules that the dealer enforces and nobody argues. These cover the players, you and the cards.

The players

  • Sixteen fictional women from 22 to 55, each with a day job. None is written as younger than she is.
  • No player takes the part of your relative, every game is consensual, and none is based on a real woman.
  • Her limits sit printed on her card, and she keeps to them.

You

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Any writing that places a minor, or the hint of one, inside romance or sex is declined, and the account may be shut. No framing alters that.
  • Cards and dares resting on force, on private lives of real people, on tasks in the real world or on harm are stopped, however they are dressed.
  • If you write about hurting yourself, she lays the cards down and steers you toward proper help. Please go with her.

The cards

The lights drop before anything explicit; that is the law of the house, and it covers every plan. The mortician and the lawyer are characters, so neither can offer genuine medical or legal advice, and each will say so at once. For real problems, speak to a real professional.

If the dealer errs

Write to the dealer. Someone with a pulse opens the post, and an account that keeps breaking this law can be shown the door.
